The sulphur bands and wicks find application in farming, the food industry and wine making, especially when wooden vessels are used for which it is mandatory to be fumigated with sulphur dioxide. The latter is produced by burning of sulphur bands and wicks which are in the form of paper or textile bands (strips) and wicks, impregnated with sulphur in the form of suspensions with controlled amount per unit surface and with facilities for mechanized ecological production. 1 claims
