The present invention relates to an apertured polymeric film web having a plurality of substantially three-dimensional surface structures and a plurality of fluid carrying openings. In one embodiment, fluid transport apertures are formed using a process that substantially preserves the integrity of surface structures. Blanket production methods are also described. The present invention further includes composite multi-sheet forming structures using apertured polymeric film blanket materials and a forming sub sheet.
