The invention relates to a static source for supplying auxiliary units on passenger-train carriages with 24 V direct current voltage and 220 V alternating current voltage. According to the invention, the source comprises a monophase transformer (5) which is supplied from the train bus with 1500 V alternating current voltage / 50 Hz, the transformer having two secondary windings, the first secondary winding being connected to a rectifier (14) ensuring the power supply of the consumers with direct voltage (40), the second secondary winding having a plurality of plugs connected at the output by means of some static switches (27, 28 and 29), controlled by a control assembly regulation unit (30) which couples the plugs to the output, so that the resulting voltage remains of 220 V alternating current voltage with an error which is within the admitted limits.
