Procedure for manufacturing a collector of an electric motor with a collector ring (10), consisting of sheets (12) adjacent to each other on its periphery and formed from a web material (27) by means of stamped grooves (20a, 20b), which are anchored in an insulating body (11) by means of dovetail grooves (22) configured on their inner sides and serving as fixing means, which extend in axial direction of the sheets, characterized in that the dovetail grooves (22, 22a) are configured by simultaneous lateral grooving of grooves in the blades, starting from both front sides of the blades (12) and made by means of a respective tool (35), of such so that an area without groove (26) remains approximately in the center of the sheets between the dovetail grooves.
