Detection of tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) consists of rapid DNA extraction and application of specific indicating oligonucleotides

The detection of tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) comprises rapid DNA extraction, and the use of specific oligonucleotides as indicators. This facilitates treatment of a large number of samples in twelve hours, with detection of TYLCV-Is and TYLCV-Sr by PCR employing AV613, AC908 and AV935 oligonucleotides.
