The drive train (1) includes a side extension gear (12) connected at input to the pto shaft (8) and at output (17) to the input shaft (19) of the implement attachment (2). Gearing (12) rotates round an horizontal axis and is coupled (21) to the power lift in such a way that the height difference between gearing (12) output and its input is less than the empowered lift interval. The attachment (2) has parallel rods (6) with the coupling (21) connected to rod (5). The gearing (12) forms part of gearing (10) which also includes a height-shift gear (11), itself interposed in a drive train between pto shaft (8) and gearing (12). The side extension gearing (12) lies within the confines of the implement attachment.
