The invention relates to a listening and speaking device (1) consisting of a hand-held device (2) and a receiving device (3) thereof. A releasable coupling is provided between the receiving device (3) and the hand-held device (2). Said coupling can be inserted into an opening and engaged therewith. The invention is characterized in that the receiving device (3) is easy and economical to produce, technical functions can be concentrated on the hand-held device (2) can be easily accommodated by the receiving device (3).
