A method for regenerating lithographic printing plate, a regenerating device, and a printer are disclosed. The plate is regenerated and can be used repetitively. The plate regenerating time is shortened, and especially the time to decompose and eliminate a printing area formed of an organic compound by applying active radiation is also shortened. Further a lithographic printing plate and its production method, and a layered structure body and its production method are also disclosed. The lithographic printing plate has a photocatalyst layer containing a photocatalyst. The surface of the photocatalyst layer can be made hydrophilic in a short time by irradiating the surface of the photocatalyst layer with an active light having energy greater than the band gap energy of the photocatalyst in a hot atmosphere.
