The invention relates to piston engines and devices for converting combined reciprocal and rotational motion into rotational motion and vice versa and can be used, in particular for internal and external combustion engines, compressors, pumps, drilling and slotting tools etc, and for sealing the chambers of piston engines. The inventive makes it possible to exclude sliding and sliding-rotational pairs from the inventive devices. The inventive piston engine comprises a support (1), a main shaft (2), and a lever (3), a piston (4), a cylinder (5), a lid (6), a seal ring (7), an input valve (8), an output valve (9) and a chamber (10). The inventive mechanism for converting combined reciprocal and rotational motion into rotational motion comprises a support (1), main shafts (2), levers (3), driving elements (11), bearing axes (13), an output shaft (14), a connecting shaft (15) and a guide (16). The inventive sealing device for the chamber (10) of the piston engine comprises a piston (4), an external cylinder (5), an internal cylinder (35), an input valve (8), an output valve (9), solid tubes (17), tubes (18) provided with holes (19), a blade grid (20) provided with the fixed ends (21), free ends (21), side bosses (23), side slots (24) and end bosses (25) and slots (26).
