Focussed electro-acoustic transducer and method for testing its output power

The 2 groups (5,6) of ceramic piezo elements (P1) are applied to the front and rear sides (V,R) of a dished carrier (3), one piezo element group controlled by a normal HV pulse during transducer testing, the mechanical loading of the carrier transmitted to the other piezo element group for providing a secondary measuring voltage pulse, for comparison with stored reference values for the output power. An Independent claim for a method for testing the output power of a focused electroacoustic transducer is also included.
