PURPOSE: A method and system for transacting a foreign application of a domestic patent application is provided to file a foreign patent application of a pre-filed domestic patent application easily by receiving basic information of the domestic patent application from the patent possessor, extracting the original data by referring to the received data, classifying the application, and monitoring a foreign web site related to the item and field of the application. CONSTITUTION: A patent managing unit(120) receives application number data of an application from a client who possesses the domestic patent right and extracts the original data of the application from a D/B of a patent information supply web site by referring to the received data. A patent classification unit(125) classifies the application according to categories in accordance with an item and a field of the application by referring to the extracted original data. A web monitoring unit(130) automatically monitors a foreign web site related to the item and field, and extracts an E-mail address of at least one foreign web site for transmitting a foreign application. A patent processing unit(135) translates contents of the application in accordance with a language system of the foreign web site and transmits the translation to the E-mail address. A patent transaction unit(145) calculates a transaction price and a quota of the patent right in a corresponding country applied to the foreign web site. An agreement contract unit(150) selects a web site of a foreign application attorney and contracts an electronic agreement with the selected web site based on the quota.
