PURPOSE: A method for preparing a squid skin food is provided, therefore the squid skin which is removed while processing squids can be effectively used as a food. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a squid skin food comprises the steps of: removing unnecessary portions of squids and washing the squids; removing unclean outer layer from the squid skin in warm water; boiling the squid in water; drying the boiled squid; removing the squid skin therefrom; drying the squid skin for a certain period of time; cutting the squid skin in an appropriate size and shaping it; frying the squid skin pieces and followed by removing oil therefrom and seasoning them; and vacuum-packaging the fried squid skin pieces.
