Food and medicinary compounds derived from crickets or contained crickets exerting hepato-protective antifatigue and enhancing effect of ethanol metabolism

PURPOSE: A gryllidae extract having a liver protecting effect and alcohol detoxifying and antifatigue properties is provided. The product is a natural insect extract, it is thus effectively used as an agent for treatment of liver diseases and a tonic supplement food product. CONSTITUTION: A cricket(gryllidae) is freeze-dried and extracted in distilled water or methanol(ethanol), the extract is used in a food and a drug for improving liver function, promoting recovery from fatigue, improving a tonic effect, increasing alcoholysis(preventing hangover) and treating antioxidation related diseases(aging or dementia).
