PURPOSE: A rotatable drift gill net operating apparatus is provided to considerably reduce a labor force required to the operation of a drift gill net and to effectively protect the drift gill net from strong wind or other ships. CONSTITUTION: In the drift gill net operating apparatus comprising a side roller(2) provided on one side of the front part of a roller box(1), first to fourth rollers(4,5,6,7) adapted to be driven by a hydraulic motor(18), and a rotating shaft(11) assembled inside a fixing pipe(12), the side roller and a center roller(3) are rotatably installed through a bearing unit(8) at both sides of the rotating shaft, and hooks(22) are installed at upper both ends and lower both ends of the apparatus for the installation of upper and lower tension springs(17,17a,16,16a). Also, an upper support(18) is rotatably assembled at one end thereof to the center of the upper end of the apparatus using a bolt. The fixing pipe is installed using two pairs of I-shaped moving rails(15) so that upper and lower strings of a drift gill net are drawn at the same time.
