High Performance Pd only Three way Catalyst

PURPOSE: Provided is an improved method for fabricating a palladium ternary catalyst which is capable of effectively purifying exhaust gas and excellent in denoxification and thermal endurance, by using a mixture of cerium oxide and a complex compound cerium-zirconium instead of a bulk compound of cerium oxide. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of reducing a palladium solution impregnated with alumina; adding 30-40g/L of a mixture of cerium oxide (CeO2) and a complex oxide of cerium-zirconium with a ratio in a range of 15:85 to 30:70 to the palladium solution in proportion to the apparent volume of the total substrate; adding 5-7g/L of praseodymium oxide (PrO2) in proportion to the apparent volume of the total substrate; and adding 10-15g/L of a metal oxide (perovskite) of (LaCe)(FeCo)O3 capable of improving denoxification efficiency.
