PURPOSE: A method of producing a modified cross-section yarn by composite-spinning a general fiber component and a silver, zeolite component is provided. Whereby, the product has trilobal or more cross-sectional shapes and a UV-shielding function as well as sweat-absorbing and quick-drying function and thus can be useful as a material for bedclothes and sports clothes. CONSTITUTION: The modified cross-section yarn by composite-spinning a general fiber component and a silver, zeolite component is prepared by adding 0.3 to 20% by weight of an inorganic antibacterial ceramic component(2) to a yarn material, based on the total weight of the yarn, and then spinning. For an example, a polyester polymer is mixed with 2% by weight of zeolite powder and 1% by weight of silver powder and spun to produce a sweat-absorbing and quick-drying yarn of 150 deniers having hexalobal cross-sectional structure.
