HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM BY SPEECH RECOGNITION AND VoIP TECHNOLOGY

PURPOSE: A home automation system using a voice recognition and VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) integration technique is provided to accurately operate various electric products at the outside or inside of a building by improving a voice recognition rate based on the voice recognition and VoIP integration technique. CONSTITUTION: A VoIP telebox(290) receives an external input or a voice signal of a user from an internal wired/wireless telephone(300), connects the wired/wireless telephone(300) to a server body(200) for using an office line telephone together with an Internet phone, and converts the voice signal of the user into a voice signal in which a noise is removed. A memory(220) stores a voice recognition software(230) for extracting a feature point of a voice command inputted through a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port, comparing the extracted feature point with a predetermined studied phoneme model and a word group to be recognized, searching the last recognition word, and transmitting the last recognition word to an application program for executing the recognition word. A CPU(210) controls an operation state of the server body(200) and executes the voice recognition software(230) stored in the memory(220). A CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) board(280) automatically receives a call transmitted from the outside, or performs an automatic response by memorized voice data. A block filter(400) is inserted into a drop line in series for blocking a frequency mounted on a power line. A PLC(Power Line Communication) control module(500) receives a control signal through a serial communication port(240) and controls load instruments using a PLC control. A PLC switch(510) controls the on/off and brightness of an illumination device(520) by the control of the PLC control module(500). A PLC outlet(530) controls the on/off of a simple electric product(540) by the control of the PLC control module(500). A PLC IR(Infrared Ray) generator(550) generates an infrared ray by the control of the PLC control module(500) for operating a multi-functional electric product(560). A PLC gas valve unit(570) operates the opening and closing of a gas alarm and gas valve(580) by the control of the PLC control module(500). A PLC embedded household appliance product(590) is operated by the control of the PLC control module(500).
