Preparation of Transdermal Delivery Agent with Antihyperlipoproteinemic using Xanthane Gum and Algin

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a transdermal agent for hyperlipoproteinaemia, therefore the transdermal agent has high biocompatibility, provides drugs to the human body effectively and causes minimum adverse effects. CONSTITUTION: Algin and xanthan gum are dissolved in deionized water as a solvent and uniformly dispersed with a mechanical agitator while removing bubbles with an ultrasonic wave generator. Thereafter, the algin and xanthan gum are mixed with clofibrate as a therapeutic agent for hyperlipoproteinaemia and a skin permeation enhancer such PEG, glycerin and oleic acid.
