Sustained release pellet of isosorbide dinitrate

PURPOSE: Provided is a sustained release pellet formulation containing isosorbide dinitrate prepared by coating a water-dispersible polymer, as a sustained release coating agent, on a drug layer containing drugs to control a dissolution rate. The formulation has dissolution property of 30% or less within 30min, 30 to 65% within 2hr and 70% or more within 8hr and is thus administered only once a day. CONSTITUTION: The sustained release pellet formulation containing isosorbide dinitrate is prepared by coating a spherical core with a drug-containing layer of isosorbide dinitrate, an excipient and a linking agent and a membrane layer comprising a water-dispersible polymer or a mixture thereof sequentially in a coating pan. The composition ratio of Eudragit RS 30D and RL 30D as a water-dispersible polymer is 100:0 to 75:25 and a coating rate thereof is 9 to 15% by weight.
