EXPRESSWAY TOLL ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD HAVING OF FUNCTION OF CYBER TRANSFER USING TOLL COIN

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing toll by using cyber payment with toll coin is provided to enable a user to purchase a user authentication bar code and a toll coin over the internet, and to automatically authenticate the user and settle the toll coin when the user passes an entrance and an exit of a toll road. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a user terminal(100), a local entrance client(200), a local exit client(300), and a central server(400). The user terminal(100) transmits a request of a member subscription, a toll coin purchase and charge to the central server(400), and receives a member authentication bar code from the central server(400). The local entrance client(200) and the local exit client(300), installed at an entrance and an exit of a toll road respectively, read the bar code displayed on a screen of the user terminal(100), transmit a user authentication request to the central server(400), and receive the user authentication data from the central server(400). The central server transmits a user identification bar code to the user terminal(100) in response to the member subscription request, transmits the user authentication data to the clients(200, 300), processes the toll payment based on the distance covered between the road entrance and exit, and transmits the toll payment process result to the client(300).
