PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for purifying water in area such as sea, dam, river, reservoir, lakes and marshes considering fluid motion and bad weather are provided to exclude the limitation of area to be treated by movable body, increase scum removal efficiency and enable normal operation to be done under any circumstances. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a flotation reaction tank structure(1) comprising partitions(12,12a) formed in parallel at both sides of the lower part of frame(11) adhered to a floating body floated on the surface of the water so that the partitions(12,12a) are extended to the bottom part of waters to be treated, a floating material collecting device(13) formed at one side end between the partitions(12,12a), and a connecting device(14) formed at the other side end between the partitions(12,12a) so that the connecting device(14) is connected to a movable body(3); and a subsidiary frame(11a) for fixing a pressurized water and chemical sprayer(2) to the inside of the flotation reaction tank structure(1), wherein a worktable or accessory facility mounting stand is formed by connecting board or rod made of plastics or wood to the upper part of the frame(11), and wherein a cover is fixed to the upper part of the frame(11).
