PURPOSE: An ink follower of water or neutral ink storage container of a pen is provided which is used even in case the density of ink following material of a pen using a water or neutral ink is changed and which has a strong impact resistance to prevent the backflow of ink due to an external strong impact. CONSTITUTION: The ink follower having an ink storage container(4) containing water or neutral ink(5) comprises: an ink following material(6) arranged at one end of ink(5) in the ink storage container(4); and auxiliary ink following units having an outer diameter actually contacted to an inner surface of the ink storage container(4), sinking in the ink following material(6) and being formed of solid fragments. The auxiliary ink following units include internal spaces connecting top holes and bottom holes inside.
