PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for learning a language and a storing medium are provided to learn effectively an arbitrary foreign language by using selectively a proper learning method according to a rate of learning progress. CONSTITUTION: An input portion(16) receives data and an execution command. A display portion(18) displays the data and a result of the execution command. A sound output portion(12) outputs the voice to a speaker(14). A CPU(Central Processing Unit)(10) includes an interface module(101), a main control module(102), a data storage management module(104), and a voice output module(103). The interface module receives data and the command from the key input portion. The main control module is used for controlling a particular module and storing a program to control each element. The data storage management module stores character data, voice data, figure data in a database(104a) and manages the stored data. The voice output module outputs a data signal to the sound output portion in order to output the particular voice data.
