PURPOSE: A process for preparing fig-vinegar using Korean herbal medicines and fig fruit is provided, which fig-vinegar has higher acidity and useful for treatment of skin diseases. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing fig-vinegar using Korean herbal medicines and fig fruit comprises the steps of: mixing sawdust of fig tree, fig fruits, water, ethanol, soju, kaoliang liquor and makkoli; inoculating an inoculant into the mixture and fermenting the mixture; filtering the fermented mixture with a membrane filter having 0.45 micrometer filter size; sterilizing the filtered solution at 73 to 81 deg. C for 1 to 30 minutes; treating the fig-vinegar with active carbon or white clay to remove color and smell; and mixing 40 to 98 wt.% of fig-vinegar with the extract of Korean herbal medicines comprising fig fruit juice, ginger, Angelica gigas Nakai, Glycyrrizae Radix, Citrus unshiu MARKOVICH., Cyperus rotundus L., creosote, cinnamon, Cnidium officinale, Paeoniae Radix, Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, Rumex crispus LINNE, Artemisia capillaris Thunb., Pueraria thunbergiana radix, Houttuyniae Herba, Astragali Radis, Eucommia ulmoides OLIV., Poria cocos WOLF, Lycium Chinense, Acanthopanacis Cortex, jujube, Crataegi Fructus, Sanguisorba officinalis L., garlic and propolis.
