PURPOSE: Provided is a method for controlling virus proliferation by inhibiting expression and function of GTP-binding protein, thereby preventing the mass death of fishes caused by virus infection. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling virus proliferation is characterized by suppressing expression and function of GTP-binding protein in a fish cell infected by virus, wherein the expression of GTP-binding is suppressed by a suppressor of transcription a and translation of GTP-binding protein.
