PURPOSE: A method for determining strain hardening coefficient and stress coefficient using continuous indentation test is provided to grasp mechanical characteristics of metal by continuously measuring variation of indentation depth according to increase or decrease of indentation load and theoretically analyzing the measured data. CONSTITUTION: The method for determining strain hardening coefficient and stress coefficient using continuous indentation test comprises a strain hardening coefficient setting step; a contact radius estimation step of estimating a contact radius of an indenter and a concerned specific metal; an indentation strain-stress estimation step; a strain hardening coefficient estimation step; a strain hardening coefficient judgement step; a repeating step of repeating the strain hardening coefficient setting step, the contact radius estimation step, the indentation strain-stress estimation step, the strain hardening coefficient estimation step, and the strain hardening coefficient judgement step; a strain hardening coefficient determination step; and a stress coefficient determination step, wherein a strain hardening coefficient of the concerned specific metal is considered in estimating the contact radius of the indenter and the concerned specific metal in the contact radius estimation step, and the estimated contact radius of the indenter and the concerned specific metal considering the strain hardening coefficient of the concerned specific metal is used in estimating an indentation strain in the indentation strain-stress estimation step.
