HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE FOR TREATING WASTE WATER CONTAINING HIGHLY CONCENTRATED SUSPENDED SOLIDS

PURPOSE: A hollow fiber membrane module is used to filter suspended solids from waste water and maintain the module without clogging for a long time by the effect of good filtering. CONSTITUTION: A module comprises; (a) two or more hollow fiber membrane units each including bundles of hollow fiber membranes(1) arranged and fixed with fixing members(2) to stand vertically side by side on a plane; (b) an H-type union consisting of a pair of connecting parts(3) and a pair of sealing parts(4) to form a permeate collection part(5) to be positioned between the membrane units; (c) a U-type union consisting of a connector and a sealing part and forming a permeate collection part to be positioned at the end of the membranes each at the respective end of both sides of the module.
