METHOD FOR ESTIMATING BIOLOGICAL COMPATIBILITY OF ERYTHROCYTIC MASS OF DONATED AND RECIPIENT'S BLOOD

FIELD: medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, resuscitation, transfusiology. SUBSTANCE: patient's venous blood is sampled, the values for blood serum hemiluminescence should be registered for 5 min, then hemiluminescence of erythrocytic mass of donated blood is registered. Then one should combine the preparation of donated blood and patient's serum to incubate for 5 min at 37 C. Then registration of hemiluminescence of combined product is conducted. Light-total of hemiluminescence is calculated by the well-known technique in conventional units. At no increase or decrease of light-total value being above 50% it is concluded on biological compatibility of donated blood preparation and recipient's blood. EFFECT: higher accuracy of estimation, decreased number of post- transfusion complications.
