FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting mucous membrane at the base of hemorrhoid complex in the lower semicircle along toothed line. Vacuum treatment of the complex to be withdrawn is carried out. Ligation of the hemorrhoid complex is carried out. The complex is cut off above the ligation position. The procedure is repeated on all hemorrhoid complexes. Vacuum treatment is carried out by means of device having ligator unit. The device has instrument for ligating internal hemorrhoid complexes with full cylinder of working organ and with an optional connection to vacuum compressor. The compressor has bactericide filter and safety reservoir. The working organ of the instrument is detachable and has various volumes internal cylinder cavity or designed as ligator units set. The ligator units are in turn connectable to the compressor and various volumes of internal cylinder cavity corresponding to removed hemorrhoid complex size. Ligator has carrying tube with handle. The handle is connected to vacuum pipe and tightly sealed with internal cavity of the working organ in the form of hollow cylinder. The hollow cylinder is usable for fixing removable cone in the cavity and for mounting latex ring on its external surface. Ligator unit has bushing movable along the hollow cylinder by means of tie-rod. The tie-rod is attached to handle with its opposite end. The handle is mounted on bearing tube and has curved plate. The curved plate has U-shaped cross-section and is movable along the longitudinal axis of the carrying tube. Opening is made on the carrying tube to allow communication with ambient atmosphere and control rarefaction degree. The tie-rod is designed as rod. The handle has oval profile and is coaxially mounted on the carrying tube. Free end of the handle is located in the internal cavity of the handle.
