SUBSTANCE: catalytic element of regular cellular structure for heterogeneous high- temperature reactions, for example conversion of ammonia, which is made as a layer from separate prisms connected by lateral sides and having cellular channels. Separate prisms on stacking them in a cellular structure layer have a gap between lateral sides equal to 0,1-1,0 diameter of the cellular channel. For laying the layer peripherally, the triangular and trapezoid blocks are used truncated at a level corresponding to diameter of the contact apparatus.
