FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of adjusting rigidity of vibration isolating devices in system providing vibration protection of operator of ground transport and self- propelled vehicles and pilots of helicopters. Rigidity of resilient member of vibration isolating device is decreased by deformation of additional resilient member in supercritical area to second form of bending. For this purpose movable structural members are connected to both resilient member. Parameters of structural members are intercoupled by transfer functional which simultaneously sets relationship between minimum rigidity of resilient member and variable torsional "negative" rigidity of additional resilient member. Then additional resilient member is deformed to initial working state and is fixed in this with provision of contact of movable structural members to form kinematic circuit which does not change structural and geometric characteristics of system. Then additional resilient member is released, and vibration isolating device is loaded and is held on section of minimum summary rigidity of both resilient members according to modulus of elasticity. Transfer mechanism is introduced into isolating device containing base, resilient member and additional resilient member and also flat thin-walled structures installed for bending to second form at deformation in supercritical area. Said transfer mechanism contains support and at least two movable structural members one of which is coupled with resilient member and second one, with additional resilient member furnished with device to regulate its initial working position and working displacement range. EFFECT: reduced labor in put at adjusting of vibration isolating device, improved efficiency at rigidity adjusting and quality of vibration protection. 3 cl, 6 dwg
