Arrangement for transcoding of mark-up language in which transcoding is controlled by a script processor dependent on preference values. Accordingly one or more control variables are determined from the preference values using fuzzy logic and are then used to determine the result of the transcoding. An Independent claim is made for an arrangement for selection of style sheets for mark-up language whereby the control variables are determined from preference values that are determined using fuzzy logic.
