The device consists of an arrangement of wraparound cells (1) that are electrically connected together by means of elastic contact bridges (7) that are arranged between the wraparound cells and a base plate (9) of the solar module and are permanently pressed onto contact surfaces of adjacent wraparound cells. The contact bridges are made of thin, hardened copper-beryllium plates.
