摘要

The information system for the friction properties between vehicle tires and road surface, whereby a vehicle maybe equipped with a sensor for the steering angle (4), a sensor for the transverse acceleration (6) and sensors for the spring path of the wheels as well as possible further sensors. The system enables determination of time intervals in which there is minimal normal force on the rear wheels from the spring behavior of the front wheels and the vehicle velocity. The friction values relating to the rear wheels can be corrected for periods when there is a minimal normal force.
