Brake device for braking wheels of car, has control device controlling reduction unit associated with rear wheel for reducing braking pressure at rear wheel when high wheel slippage occurs at front wheel
The device has a sensor for determining wheel slippage. A reduction unit i.e. exhaust valve (8), is provided for reduction of brake pressure acting at wheel brakes (4). A control device (10) monitors the wheel slippage of a front wheel and controls the reduction unit associated with a rear wheel for reducing braking pressure at the rear wheel when high slippage occurs at the front wheel. The control device reduces the rear wheel-brake pressure, while the wheel slippage is smaller than a threshold value. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a braking device for braking wheels of a vehicle.
