Angle sensor comprises a position detection circuit for detection of angular position within one revolution and a revolution counter. Additionally the sensor has a switch that causes electrical charging of a capacitor at two set angular positions when the capacitor is connected to the battery. At other angular positions the capacitor acts as a power supply.
