The arrangement has a temperature-dependent resistance to which a measurement current is fed. A resistance region not covered by the liquid is heated more than a covered region. The voltage rise in the resistance is a measure of the level. The voltage can be fed to an evaluation device with characteristics for different measurement currents from which level values can be formed by interpolation depending on previously stored correction values. The arrangement has a temperature-dependent resistance extending over the measurement region to which a measurement current is fed. The voltage can be fed to an evaluation device with characteristics for different measurement currents from which level values can be formed by interpolation depending on previously stored correction values.
