The container lashing system is based on a mechanical law which states that the lashing force is equal to the friction force when the coefficient of friction is 1.0, and the right-angled spacing of the friction force relative to the holding force is equal to the right-angled spacing (1) of the lashing force relative to the neutral phases of the lashing bracket (3).
