The components of the robot are linked by joints and the cable is fed along them. The device has a sprung tensioning element at a cable bend near a rocker and/or robot arm. The ends of the tensioning element are fixed to one robot component and to the cable. The clamp element can bend under spring force over its length and is arranged radially to the cable bending line in its rest position. The cable can move in at least one guide sleeve. The components of the robot (10) are linked by joints and the cable (20) is fed along them. The device has a sprung tensioning element (25) at a cable bend near a rocker and/or robot arm.
