The hinge bolt (8) mounting consists of an adapter (4) with its leg (6) profiled for air guidance and a holding block fitted to the wiper blade (1). The bolt (8) is mounted either on the adapter (4) or the holding block so the bearing is fitted to the other respective component. The bolt (8) is prevented from sliding in the adapter mounting by means of a safety hook (9) set parallel to and spaced from the bolt either on the adapter (4) or on the block on the side furthest from the wiper arm (2) so as to engage the adapter or block as appropriate in service on the non-screen side. The air-guiding profile of the adapter should be set at 45degrees to the screen angle.
