The procedure for the cleaning of surfaces entails applying a cleaning agent to the surface (7), brushing down the wetted surface by a roller brush (6,8) equipped with bristles having a scraping or cutting action, and then wiping down the surface by means of a cleaning roller (9) equipped with a micro-fiber surface (12). The applying of the cleaning agent onto the surface is by way of an absorbent application roller (1). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device to carry out the proposed surface cleaning procedure; (b) an application roller for the cleaning agent; and (c) a cleaning roller.
