Control electronic devices commutate an electric servomotor (12) electrically. A synchro-resolver (20) detects the angular position of a rotor (22) on the servomotor. A synchro-resolver signal is analyzed in order to control the commutating. In order to eliminate rippling on the steering wheel, the servomotor is triggered as a magnetic armature motor in a mixed operating process.
