Gas testing system for testing and certification of combustion engines under transition conditions using a partial flow dilution tunnel, master and slave flow control device as well as a transition, dilution and air flow control device. The latter measures the transition change in the inlet air and varies the flow of the diluting air to the partial flow dilution tunnel. The transition, dilution and air flow control device has a constant mass flow that can be connected to the inlet of outlet of the partial flow dilution tunnel and a variable mass flow stream arranged in parallel to the constant mass flow stream.
