The device to accommodate a seat belt retractor on the seat back of a motor vehicle has a housing and belt guide consisting of one deep-drawn component part. The belt guide is installed asymmetrically to the housing with regard to the longitudinal center line. A belt deflector (28) is provided on the free end of the belt guide. The belt deflector consists of an opening which has an edge (282) which is bent outwards.
