Parking disk comprises a digital clock, a microcontroller, a display, an infrared movement detector, a mounting plate and a compartment for batteries, electronics and mechanical elements. The infrared movement detector updates the clock every time the driver moves; thus when the driver leaves the car the time at which the final movement is detected will accurately represent the time at which the vehicle was parked.
