A roof rain gutter consists of a series of U-shaped sheet metal profile terminating in an end-wall fitting. The end-fitting U-shaped interface has a horizontal V-shaped groove with a waterproof elastic seal under a coating of bonding agent. The join is effected by insertion of the U-shaped profile into the V-groove followed by nip and tuck folding hammer-action.
