The wooden bricks can in particularly be used by a group of children or youths for building any kind of suitable structure as part of an outdoor activity. Each of the bricks is provided with three cylindrical recesses on the top and at the bottom for the insertion of the specifically shaped joint elements. The joint elements have a cylindrical center area and are slightly tapered toward both ends. Three plain areas are distributed around the cylindrical center.
