The gantry comprises two vertical, telescopic beams (2,3) each composed of two half beams (2a,2b,3a,3b). There is a central telescopic crossbeam (4), composed of two half beams (4a,4b), and two bottom crossbeams (2c,3c) each fitted with two wheels (5) one of which is a powered steering wheel. There is a driving cabin (6), a handling arm (7) fitted with a gripper (10) and hydraulic equipment (8) supplying power to the different motors and actuators. The cabin and handling arm are mounted on a support (9a) which pivots on a turret (9). There is a storage zone (12) for placing counterweights.
