The bolt head has a part (10) with a progressively increasing section from top of the screw, which facilitates the passage of the bolt head. A first opening (31) of a hole (3) has a part (20) with a progressively decreasing section towards the internal part (32) of the hole (3) in a second part (2). This section variation facilitates passage of the bolt head . Auto-retaining fixing for bone clamps, includes a bolt (1) with screw thread shank (12) and head (11). The shank is inserted in a chamfered hole (3) in a strap (2) via a first opening (31) which has an internal part (32). The hole (3) has transversal dimension (s31) in the part (31) and a second smaller transversal dimension in the part (32). The bolt head has a dimension (s11) larger than (s31) and hole section (320). The head passes through the opening (31) by elastic deforming .
