The saddle clamp (1) has a curved clamping slot (3) located on the same side as a multi-functional extension (2), a concentric hole (4) towards the outer contour (8) of the extension to accommodate a threaded bolt or spindle, and a transverse hole (15) through the extension for the fitting of a fastening screw. A clamping lever (6) can be positioned in an open and closed position, whereby the clamping slot in the open position is larger than that in the closed position.
